I have been going here w friends, family, significant others and myself for a long time. My personal opinion, dinner > breakfast. HOWEVER. i enjoy the food either way. meat isn’t outstandingly flavored/seasoned, but they do have an older crowd so I understand. The staff is always so kind. Whoever server 3 was, at around 8pm on Thursday Nov. 16th, was AMAZING. which I had their name. Good food, homey place. Worth it. So many options!
We came in around 6pm with a group of 11. They immediately opened a section and sat us. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Broccoli soup was amazing, fried shrimp was great, steak was.....steak. Lacked on flavor but was all around good. Food all came out at once and all orders for 11 people were correct. Would highly recommend.
Food was good. Felt bad for the waitress only one working. But a nice restaurant to go to. Service was nice. Had a nice filling meal.
Waitress was nice..however no need to ask how everything is...when your two minutes into your plate. I had Steak, shrimp n a salad. Steak was grizzled! Yuck! Shrimp was awesome! My SALAD was plain...no cheese, onions, tomatoes???? Usually with Shrimp n Steak you get a BETTER Salad. Hubby got meatloaf?!. The texture was mushy. I thought it tasted like ALPO Dog food! ( yes I tasted Alpo)! NOT GOOD! ( SERIOUSLY) I probably won't attend again.... French fries were the best of the almost 50.00 meal!
We stopped for breakfast while driving through town. Breakfast is served all day. I had hash brown skillet with hollandaise sauce, eggs over easy. It was delish! They used fresh onions and canned mushrooms but sautéed them together so I didn't mind the mushrooms being the canned ones. The eggs were prefectly cooked, not well done and not slimy. My husband had a breakfast omelet plate which he really liked, and added a pancake for a dollar. It was very good. He had a hankering for a chocolate milk, which was real, not the syrup mixed with white milk. The server was very friendly and attentive. I told her I have an allergy and she made note of it and told the cook too. The cost was very reasonable. We would def stop there again.
